K2 Please setup your antispam settings was created by John Vincent
Hi,

Not sure when this started but after I login via the front end and try to post a comment, I get this error "Please setup your antispam settings in the 'Comments' and 'Advanced' tabs inside K2's backend parameters."

When I go to the parameters I am not sure what to do since I have not changed anything. When I disable the captcha I still get the error.

Any ideas on why I am no longer able to post comments?

Hello John,

There is an option in K2's params for which antispam service K2 uses.
Make sure that you have selected the correct option.

Hi,

Thanks for the relpy. I am using captcha and it had been working. I did update the domain registration to a new company. Should I generate new capcha keys?

Also, when I turn off the captcha I still get the error to change the anti spam. Which is strange if I have tirned off the anti-spam.

I do not think the registration is the issue here.
What are the "Anti-spam protection" settings?

You can try getting new keys as well

I found the issue with the setting in the comment section. It needed to be reset to Google Recapcha - not sure how or why it was chnaged.

To the best of my knowledge we have not made any updates as I mentioned it had been working jis fine. But I am glad it was an easy fix. I did update the capcha keys but I don't think that would change the settings.
