How can I remove all blog sub-categories from my URLs?

Currently this...

domain.com/blog/subcat/item-1
domain.com/blog/subcat/item-2
domain.com/blog/subcat/item-3

I Desire This...

domain.com/blog/item-1
domain.com/blog/item-2
domain.com/blog/item-3

Note: I only want to remove the sub-categories for the blog section of my website.

Hello Joe,

I am afraid this is not possible without an SEO extention. Since these are menu items the path will always represent the menu path.
