I added a K2 Content Module to my sidebar to display one random image banner (by way of an Extra Field).

It works fine on the Category pages, but on Item pages, the space is blank. Note: I am using an Override for this module.

When I change the sub-template to Default, I then see that the Extra Field is not for the one random item that is supposed to be displayed by the K2 Content Module, but the instead the Extra Fields value(s) are being pulled from the page item.

What am I doing wrong or is this a limitation of the K2 Content Module?

I'm using Joomla 3.4.1 and K2 2.6.8 (I never went to 2.6.9 because the announcement said it only corrected the date issue, which did not bother since I am still in development mode)
