unlocking frontend image upload folders was created by steven elliott
I have been successfully using K2 on joomla 2.5 for a few years but my client discovered something I can't correct.
I am superadministrator in both back end and front end. In backup, I can use the K@ image upload feature to create directories, upload and delete images, etc. However, my client recently discovered that it is not possible to upload images to the images directories via the same K2 feature in the front end, even with the same Super User login. I have made the folders all 755 and even made test folders 777 but they still show up as locked. Ironically, the normal joomla upload utility works fine. What have I overlooked?

Hello Steven,

You have not overlooked anything. The images folder can only by browsed from the frontend. The user cannot edit that folder.
