I just test K2 on a clean Joomla-Installation together with the yaml-template. Everything is the newest version.

Whenever I make a new menu entry, I can create it, but some stuff from options isnt saved.

Like the selected categories are saved, also to fetch items from children categories, but not the template and not the image size for leading items.

What could cause the problem?

These options are for a multi-category menu item.
If a single category is selected then these options are not respected.

You need to change the category's settings instead of the menu's.
