Hi

I have a problem with my website home page. The home page is set to show only featured items from multiple K2 categories. This works fine until I enable the Joomla cache in Global Configuration.

Once I enable the cache all items from the categories show on the home page (not just featured ones). I have tried this on two K2 websites with the same results. This seems to be a bug with K2 so does anyone know how to fix it?

I cannot verify the issue. Just tested and it works fine for me. I tried both conservative and progressive caching options. You need to provide more details so we can troubleshoot this.

Is the menu a K2 categories menu?
Do you have any third party caching plugins installed and enabled?

One thing you can try is to use the development version from getk2.org/assets/get but keep in mind that this is work in progress so it might not be ready for production sites.

I am not using any third party caching plugins.
The menu item for the home page is set to K2 > Categories and is configured to show only featured items from three different categories.

If I turn on the cache then the problem doesn't immediately occur but if I wait a couple of minutes and then refresh the home page I get the problem (all articles from the three categories show).

This happens on two identically set up but completely different K2 websites on different hosts.

I will try the dev build but I'll create a backup first and apply the update locally so it will take some time before I can report back.

I have updated to the dev build and it seems to have fixed the issue. I will keep checking back but hopefully thats it. Thanks Lefteris.

I thought this was fixed but I have just checked the site again and the problem persists :(

I am still not able to reproduce the issue. Can you provide details regarding the cache type?

Does the issue occurs in all menu links with that setup or just when the menu link is set as the home page?
