here is my problem too K2 generated image , a small site but I have more size 1GB of images.
PLEASE how to disable this system ; now my site has not even arrived ad pictures on the page k2

I have a site that has more than 40 GB size image in the folder media / k2

You can remove the original image to cut down on space.

1) BACKUP, I cannot stretch this enough.
2) Navigate to the /media/k2/items/src folder.
3) Empty the contents of the folder but keep the index.html file.
