K2 item images not saved

K2 item images not saved was created by Vilhjálmur Hallgrímsson
I developed on a local XAMP server and K2 item images are saved sucessfully.
I moved the site to a offsite production server and now the K2 item images are not getting saved.
I played with some permissions without any luck and then I tried changing ALL files and folders briefly to 777 to test , but still no luck.
I can see in the production server php information
GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.1.0 compatible)
I'm stuck.
Can anyone suggest where to look next please.

You can look at the error_log for any potential issues.
Are you getting errors or simply no image at all?
Have you checked if the max_upload_size setting is too small?

Problem solved and had a very logical explanation.
My host moved my instance to another server and I had not noticed the update message.
So I was working og my website on the new server and trying to config file permissions on the old.
All is working now.
