I installed K2 and I want to make the articles in a specified category to look like a debate. For that, I created 2 extrafields textarea, one is Pro and the other is Against.

Now, here's the problem: these extrafields must be assigned to some users selected from database and just the users selected can edit and writes the arguments for the debate.

How can i do this?

Unfortunately there is no way to allow user to edit only specific parts of an item.

I think you need to look at the JED or KED for an extension that offers this functionality.

If you are comfortable with coding, you could create a simple K2 plugin which checks the current user and removes/ disables elements of the item form.
