Hello Jeff,
You can do this with a template override and make use of Joomla!'s user object docs.joomla.org/Accessing_the_current_user_object
There are several examples of this method in the forum.
Keep in mind that you should use an extension (system plugin more likely) that blocks your users from browsing your site with a different template.
