I want to display on the Home page a K2 Item with only a sparse amount of information such as Title. But then when the user clicks on a graphic image thumbnail inside that K2 Item, a lightbox/pop-up appears which has the full K2 Item including more than Title, such as the Extra Fields including the embedded Video all contained within the lightbox/pop-up.

How can I do this in K2? What extensions might need to be added? Does this require some sort of modal function for the lightbox/pop-up?

This can be done with a custom K2 Content template.
It requires coding though.

AllVideos displays videos from K2, you will need a lightbox engine like fancybox to add a lightbox to your template.
