whenever i use k2 content module i get error was created by Cory Wynn

i get 0 - Serialization of 'SimpleXMLElement' is not allowed error when i use k2 content module. No other error message.

I am also getting this error. 0 - Serialization of 'SimpleXMLElement' is not allowed
It occurs when opening a category K2 menu item - see attached screen shots

Joomla Version - 3.9.2
K2 Version - 2.9.0
PHP Version - 7.2.14

It is on a laptop at the moment but can be uploaded to a server if you would like to view.

This looks like a Joomla bug, not a K2 bug. See the line referenced in the bordered box right after "Serialization of 'SimpleXMLElement' is not allowed".

Don't know if this could be related to the particular issue, but since you're using PHP 7.2, also make sure that the SimpleXML module is loaded.
