Is there a way or hack to duplicate or clone the categories and rename it? I want to use it as a 'Locations'. Same functions as categories, so in front end or backend, in item form there will be Category and Location select field.

No, unfortunately not. And hacking an extension is never a good idea. Have you tried to use tags for locations? You can also use the "Additional Categories for K2" plugin which allows you to assign an item to multiple categories.

Additional Categories for K2 seems like a good option.

The only problem with it is there is no option/parameter to set to a selected categories only. It shows every single categories in K2 in an item form.

Also no option/parameter to limit how many categories can user add to it.

I'm not a coder. Maybe someone with a good skill can help here...thanks. ;)

Is there a cascading dropdown for Extra Field?...I try to search but didn't found any. Also this one for a specific category with more than 3 levels.

There's a filter module but I don't know how to work it with extra field if I have more than 3 levels.

The "Additional categories" plugin for K2 is not developed by us. If you need help i suggest to visit the developer's website. The same goes for the filter module. The guys who have built that module should know better.

I suggest visiting getk2.org/extend to search for K2 extensions.
