Hi, I'd like to have a text extrafield that will allow me to insert a plugin-type shortcode into an item, but it doesn't render when the page loads.

Is there some code I can put in the k2 template that will parse this field like a system plugin when it loads?

Hi,

Extra fields of type "Textfield" and "Textarea" trigger the "onContentPrepare" event.

Just make sure that the plugin you are using is a content plugin and that you are using the latest version of K2.
