My breadcrumb displaying strangely was created by Sean Carney
This is a page for a section under development. Here is a URL where you can see the problem:
www.starch-smart.com/science/disease-conditions/item/2-dietary-fat-and-prostate-cancer-progression-and-survival

What is displaying for the breadcrumb looks like this:

HomeDisease ConditionsCancerProstateYou are here: | | | | Dietary fat and prostate cancer progression and survival

although if I copy it to paste into this message then it displays differently and looks like this:

You are here:Home | Disease Conditions | Cancer | Prostate | Dietary fat and prostate cancer progression and survival

I am using K2 Tools to create the breadcrumb.

What I want the breadcrumb to look like is this:

Home | Disease Conditions | Cancer | Prostate | Dietary fat and prostate cancer progression and survival

Do you think this might be a problem with my template or a problem with K2 Tools?

Also, how can I remove the You Are Here: string?

Hello Sean,

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the issue. Both the direct link and browsing though your site result to correct breadcrumbs.

The "You are Here:" can be removed by creating an override for the mod_k2_tools and removing the string.

The template designer found a little styling issue and fixed it before you looked. I am sorry I forgot to mention that. I was supposed to login here right away and let you know in order to not waste your time!

I still have one breadcrumb problem which is that the parent category is not showing up in the breadcrumb when clicking through some of the K2 generated links.

I should get Home | Science | Disease Conditions | etc...

But instead Science is not showing up. I suspect maybe a setting is wrong?

Here is a good example:
www.starch-smart.com/science/disease-conditions/itemlist/category/61-breast-cancer

Is the science the parent category or a menu item?

Sorry to be so long in replying. I see what I did wrong. Thank you for asking. I had made it a menu item and NOT a parent category. I will go change that and all should be well. I am used to Joomla breadcrumbs being menu based and forgot that this Kk2 breadcrumb is K2 category based.
