Trouble with user bio page was created by owenp123
Hi guys,
Wondering if anyone has had the same issue - I'm struggling to find it through searching.
I'm trying to get modules to appear on the k2 user bio pages linked through the name on the bio within items/posts however since they're not assigned to a menu I can't attach the module to anything.
I have two menu items set up as k2 category views and I need to keep the same styling on all child pages. Items and categories are fine But since the user pages don't seem to be children I can't.
Is there any way, without assigning every user to the hidden menu, to add modules to the user-bio page?
Thanks.

Modules in Joomla! are assigned to menu items.
You can create a base menu for your K2 content and assign modules there.

Hi Krikor,
Thanks for getting back to me.
The problem that I'm having involves the fact that the user bio pages aren't child items of the K2 category view menu items, and thus don't pull through the modules assigned to them.
I'm wondering, since I have around 600+ authors, whether there is any way to assign modules to those pages without adding 600 individual menu items to the hidden menu for each author?
Thanks.

Create a menu item towards K2 Categories and leave the category selection empty. All the orphan users and tags will be rendered through that menu.

That's worked!
Such a simple solution, much appreciated.
