How to set Item Attachment File Directory was created by Kris
I need to set the K2 item attachments to a specific directory and am struggling to find where I set that parameter.

I have figured out how to set it. Using the relative path. However, when I try to add an attachment (i.e. PDF) the item attachment adds to the Item but on the front end when I try the link it says file does not exist.

Hello Kris,
Which version of Joomla! and K2 are you using? Is there a link to your site?

The version is 2.6.8
I was able to change the attachment path ./images/product-resources
When I am in the admin and load a new attachment to and existing item and then save, I can download the file attachment no problem.
If I look at that same item on the front end, I can see the attachment item but when I click the link says file not found.
I tried it on existing item and also new item with same results.

You are using an outdated version of K2.
You can use 2.6.9 or the 2.7 DEV version which you can get from here: getk2.org/assets/get/

is that why I am having an issue?
I am not overly familiar with K2... how easy is it to update and does it mess any of the current categories/items/parms during an update?

Simply install the new version on top. DO NOT uninstall first.
To ensure that nothing goes wrong, you can backup first.

I did so, the install went fine. nothing bad happened.
However, front end cannot find files... says not found.
I have the path set to ../images/product-resources
All my files are in that directory as I moved them as they were originally loaded with the path was blank going to default K2 placement.
So not only do my new files not work from the front end the old ones even though moved to new directory don't work either. But they all work in the backend.....
