Hi all! I have a little problem with K2 tags in my website with Joomla 3.4.5 , I´ll try to explain:

I have spanish and english, and when below the article people clicks in an english tag, always the meta desc its in spanish, and it uses the same meta desc that the main site in spanish, I would like Joomla to get meta desc of the K2 tag in english, not the spanish one, I send you a sample:

www.eventosbarcelona.cat/en/dance/book-hire-flamenco-shows-dancers-barcelona/tag/flamenco%20dancers

The tag its in english, but meta desc its in spanish, and Its showing the same as the home in spanish...

Is there anyway that joomla gets for tags the meta desc of a k2 article or even choose the meta desc for every tag?

Hello Mauri,

You can set a different meta desc if you map the tag into a menu item.
Provided that this is sometimes time consuming, you can try this solution:

Create two hidden menu items eg: content and the equivalent in spanish.
Map all English categories in the English menu item and do the same for the spanish content.

Now all tags will be rendered from that menu item and they will inherit its settings.

Perfect Krikor, the solution of mapping the menu item to the tag works perfectly for me!
