I would suggest that you try the 2.7 DEV version.
You can get it from getk2.org/assets/get/ . To be 1000% sure that nothing goes wrong, you should backup your site before updating.

The font resizer buttons were stripped from the template.
You need to manually add them, or address this issue to the template's developer.
