I don't know why you would suggest your component, based one my needs, stated above. Your component does not allow for public user uploads for inclusion in an items gallery.

When you say public user, you mean non-registered user?
By default you will need to be a registered user to post an item in K2.

As I so clearly stated above, I am talking about the gallery, not a K2 item. I don't know why you two are intentionally overlooking this tidbit of info.

If you don't have any useful suggestions them please just say so.

Just because you are on a public forum, it does not give you the right to speak in this fashion.

Simple Image Gallery Pro is the gallery extension which K2 uses by default, this is why Lefteris suggested it.
K2 does not allow guest users to post or edit items. This is why I asked.
