For some reason the k2 star rating is allowing one user to vote many times on the same item.

You can vote, wait a day, then vote again. Sometimes you only have to wait a few hours,

Can this be rectified?

Each user can vote once per day.
It is possible to bypass this by changing your IP. If you are behind a dynamic IP it is possible to change your IP. This means that the user can vote again.

So is there no way to only allow a user 1 vote or perhaps extent the vote time range to one week?
