Hello, I have some sites temporarily suspended from my hosting because of some paths thet were found to be suspect and either attacking other hosts on the internet and/or sending spam.
Some of those path are:

components/com_k2/categories.php
modules/mod_k2_tools/route.php

Any idea of what can it be?

Hello Alvaro,

Is this the exact path your hosting provider stated?
If yes, then it more than probable that your site was compromised.
These files are not a part of K2. They have been disguised to look like normal files however.
