[solved] After install 404 was created by Charley Hankins
Hi! I just installed K2.

I was in the process of creating Extra Fields. I had created six fields. After creating another one, I was directed to my 404 screen. Upon attempting to navigate to anywhere else in the admin section, other than the Control Panel, I am now directed to the 404 screen - even though the URL in the address bar is correct.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Charley

Well, it just started acting normal. I wish I could say I know what caused the problem and solution, but I can't.

I suppose I can mark it solved. But, I can't say why.

If you were getting 404 to views other than K2, this issue is not related to K2. It was either a 3rd party extension or a core issue.

Actually, it keeps happening every time I use K2. If I work in K2 for five or ten minutes, I start getting the 404 Error page. It happened after I responded to this thread and labelled it [solved], but thought it might have been a fluke. I left it for the day. When I came in this morning everything was back to normal.

I worked in my website all morning. But after ten minutes of working in K2, I am now being directed to the 404 Error page.

Thanks,
CH

K2 will not affect your views.
Check your error_log for any potential PHP errors.
