I used an existing K2 item that I was no longer publishing to create a new K2 item by changing the item name and alias. However, when I published the new item created from the old item the URL link still was linked to the old item's name. The alias only changed in the edit item page. However, in the SideMenu when I brought up the item the alias was still linked to the old K2 item name. Crazy I know but I need the URL to change to the new item name instead of the old item alias link. HELP!!!

The alias you are seeing is the menu item's alias.
Change the menu item's alias to point to the old alias.

If I change the new menu item's alias to the old item's old alias how will that change the URL alias to the new menu item's menu title?

*UPADTE* I did what you said and Joomla created the item's alias. Thank you for the help.
