Error on K2 2.7.0 k2.frontend.js jquery not defined was created by NUNO ALEXANDRE NOGUEIRA
Hello,
On some pages, I get the error:
This is happening after upgrading to K2 2.7.0.
It seems this script is loaded before Jquery, thus causing the conflict.
This is breaking the page and preventing users to click "buy now" buttons and causing a lot of damage.
Can someone help?

Hello,
This probably means that jQuery is not being loaded.
You can load jQuery from K2's parameters.

Hi,
No, that's not the problem.
The problem is the order of the scripts, including Jquery's.
Unloading JQuery from K2 and using the plugin "JQuery easy" fixed the problem. For now.
Thank you

Nice to hear that the issue has been resolved.
jQuery Easy is always a reliable solution.

Nuno,
I am having this same problem and it is disabling some of my modules at my pages at www.drcarney.com/blog
The module that is broken is the one called Easy Blog Selection List.
So, I want to do whatever you did to fix this problem. It happened to me after upgrading to 2.7.0 as well.
I wondering if by "Unloading JQuery from K2" you are referring to setting the jQuery libray handling field to 'Do not load the jQuery library'?
I am wondering if there are special settings you configured with jQuery Easy. I have not used that yet and figure I will have to.
Thanks for any clues that you have.

Hello Sean,
jQuery is not being triggered correctly.
Installing jQuery Easy will solve this issue.
The other option would be to located which extension is loading jQuery, it could also be the template, block that loading and have K2 load jQuery.

It's a life saver if you are using multiple extensions which load jQuery.
