I have taken over a website that uses Joomla - which I have a very basic understanding of - and have been finding it impossible to actually update a live article.

Someone suggested the site might be using K2 for publication - I had a look at Plugins and sure enough K2 is listed.

I've gone to your website but I can't find how to publish an article with K2. How do I get an article to publish?

More exactly, I have an article that is already published, but when I edit it and save it, the change is not reflected on the live site. How can I get this to happen?

As for the changes, if the site you are using has caching enabled, changes will take some time before they are shown in the frontend.

Logging in through the frontend will show you the uncached site.

K2 is a component, please look at the videos on how to access K2 and add items. They will really help you.

As for the caching, this is a Joomla! misconfiguration, I am not sure I can assist you with core issues.
