how do I remove the star icon for featured items?

I could just replace he png with a blank one - but I can't find the location of the icon!

The icon is an icon font.
I would recommend hiding it from the category's settings.

It doesnt work at all - this sad red star still exist there! (all my categories had and still have this feature option set to hide ). I also tried to switch it off, on, off - but to no avail). I upgraded one week ago to latest K2 and now i have problem with that .

For clarity - I WANT article to be featured but i DONT WANT see red star . In previous K2 it worked perfectly .

How to turn it off? (i suppose its a bug here)


ps. new layout is just TERRIBLE !! - everything is at gargantuan size. Massacre.

No support, no help and full of bugs in K2. Im really considering to get rid of k2 from my page.

I had the same problem.
For me, the most simple solution is add css with:
.catItemIsFeatured::before {
display: none;
}
