Hi everybody.

I’m working on a site using K2. I’ve created up to five categories with multiple articles in all of them. However, my intent is that my client from the back end can only see, edit and publish content from one of them and make the rest unavailable via backend.

I’ve tried using “access levels” but this only blocks the read access on the front end, and I want my client to not touch certain categories (and its contents) on the back end. After some search I’ve seen you say there is a plugin for that, but I haven’t found any. Could you tell me it’s name?

Membeship plugins offer similar functionality, but I have not used one in a long time to be honest.

Have you tried browsing the JED?

I’ve looked for it, but most are just to avoid people from editing or deleting articles, but they can still see the categories. I need for them to only see the articles in one specific category...

The Akeeba Membership plugin will allow access to specific categories but it is an extension meant for developers.
