Hello,
There are 6 image sizes generated.
In the category's settings you can choose which image size to use.
Furthermore in K2's settings you can change the width value for each size and also change the thumbnails' quality settings.

I did actually :
I have some categories that Inheirt their parameter option from a category...
I changed the setting (or maybe I missed) but no result...
Can you please post a screenshot of the section that contains this setting (I know it is in the Parameters section , but at the tabs I didn't find it presumably) ?

Here you go:
imgur.com/e3tAAe3
Keep in mind that you need to reupload an image for the new settings to take effect.
Furthermore if a category is inheriting its settings from another category, then the 'master' category's settings will always be respected.

Thanks , but I'd rather to set the image size. I mean :
I want to set the setting that the images selected in the Image tab need to be either XSmall , Small , Medium , Big , etc
But in the settings I think I did this , but however to be sure : can you please give an screenshot of that place ? (missed it maybe and presumed it is i the Content or Layout tab).

The option on which size to use are located in the category's settings - imgur.com/a/zixcf
As mentioned before if a category is inheriting its settings from another category, then the 'master' category's settings will always be respected.
If despite of any changes, the image is still stretched to 100%, it is possible that is is a template issue.
PS. If you are using a module, then the image retrieval settings are located in that module's settings.
