Did someone consider infinite scrolling for their news site or blog with K2 component? I've just seen two plugins on Joomla extensions library. Both paid options and one declares that it works with K2, but only with cats, not articles.

What I mean is infinite scrolling like in wordpress, loading next article from category after you read to the bottom of single item using ajax. Really, I don't want to change cms and migrate, it would make a huge pain in the ass. So, is there any ideas or news about such feature?

This can be done on a template override.
You can use a script like github.com/infinite-scroll/infinite-scroll (oldie but goodie) or you can take advantage of K2's JSON feeds and build your own script using a library like Underscore.js or airbnb.io/infinity/
