I am very new to the K2 component and I am sure what I would like to do can be done very easily. I would like to setup a module that shows a category and the category description. When the category name is clicked, I would like the same behavior as a menu item, where all items related to the category are then listed.

I have tried setting up K2 content module, K2 tools module, a menu, and about everything else I can think if. Nothing has given me both the category name and description with the functionality I am looking for. I seem to always get the items listed in the module, I want the user to click to see the items, not have them already listed. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. If there are any questions or if more information is needed I will be happy to provide it.

This can be done easily with a menu item.
You can populate the description's data, by filling in the menu item's notes.
