I am created some k2 extra templates like blog, Playsets etc. in the theme html folder. Newly created template are showing in back-end category page.

But after assigning a template to category it is not overriding the layout on front-end.


So kindly help me on this or let me know if k2 plugin are not compatible with current envor template.

If the category is inheriting its settings from another category then the master category's settings will be respected instead.

Furthermore if you are using a multi-category menu item, the setting will be located in the menu item's params.

If both of these do not work, then you need to ask the template's developers if they use a framework which alters Joomla!'s default overriding method.
