Guys, I need help. My site has been suspended by my host due to CPU abuse. They provided me the following codes...which per others points to K2 commenting issues. Comments WERE turned off when I installed K2 and the subsequent categories.

When other comes back up...is there a fast way to shut off all commenting? Like a master switch that would change all categories?

Can someone please help me!

Seems your hosting specs are not sufficient for your data volumes, if you are using a shared hosting, I think you should look for an upgrade, maybe a VPS will be good for your case.

From the attached database logs, I can detect that it is not only the comments having the problem, other tables have large number of rows as well, almost all of the queries take 2.5+ sec to execute! this is not a one table issue, I think it is the database server configuration and the resources available for your hosting account.

Turns out, I've been primarily attacked by a Chinese group (host tracked it back) as well as a smaller U.S. group, leaving 50,000+ comments on my site in the K2 posts.

I know 100% for sure I had turned off commenting when I had installed K2...but apparently somewhere along the way, it got turned back on. Not sure how, but it happened.

All "should" be ok now...but obviously only time will tell for sure.

The comments are stored in a single table.
Mohamed mentioned several tables with significant size, I would suggest, knowing Mohamed's work to look into the possibility of a VPS.
