modules in subcategories was created by Martin Thorgaard
I have some problems, managing my modules in my subcategories.

Its like K2 randomly choose, if a module should be shown in the choosen category or not.

The following are two different articles (Items) but they are placed in the same category. BUT, please notice, that in one of them, a lot of modules are missing on the right side of the page.
Also the BREADCRUMB is gone in one of them.

Modules that are shown:
www.joomlaworks.net/forum/newtopic#

Modules that are NOT shown:
min-barsel.dk/paedagogik/og-hvad-siger-man-sa

The last one only shows the facebook module.

I am REALLY lost, its so wierd. They are in the same category, so they should act the same, and show all the same modules.

Anyone have ANY idea what is going on?

The modules are displayed in menu items.
If the subcategory is mapped in a menu item or you are using a parent menu item to access it the menu's modules will be shown.

The most efficient way to control your modules without a 3d party extension would be to map each category and subcategory into a separate menu item.

Thx for your reply Krikor.

The category "Artikler" (The first item in the menu) and all its subcategories, are already menu items.
Though I've have unpublished all the subcategories, because I didnt want the subcategories to be shown in the menu, as sub menus.

But that doesnt explain why there is a difference, when they are in the SAME category. If the menu items was the problem, howcome the modules are shown in SOME of the items , and not in other, even they are in the same subcategory?

Please watch the difference in the 2 links below. The 2 items is in the same subcategory:

Working modules in subcategory PÆDAGOGIK
min-barsel.dk/paedagogik/trolden-i-aesken

Modules NOT working in subcategory PÆDAGOGIK
min-barsel.dk/paedagogik/og-hvad-siger-man-sa

Modules are assigned by default to menu items.
This is how to have to control them.

If the template you are using has different positions per K2 category this is something I cannot know.

Im sorry, but its like you didnt read my complete post, or look at the links.

The modules are working in some of my articles (items) and not working in other articles IN THE SAME SUBCATEGORY (Which is assigned to a menu item)

Again, this is not an issue of K2.
Check wether this is a template issue or if you are using an extension like modules anywhere then check its rules.
