Can Secondary Images Align to the LEFT?? was created by Chris Hogan
Hello - I have a question about there or not I can make any of the K2 images on my homepage align to the left or right?

I've had a look online and the forum but nothing's obvious at the moment!

Can anyone please advise on this matter.

Many Thanks

As mentioned on the previous answer since you know your way around BS, you can override the template or you can use a float: left; value in the css file.

Hi there - Sorry I think you have my thread mixed up with some else's!

1) I don't know about any previous answer? 2) Not sure what '' BS '' means

I have however tried to drill down to the 'images' as per screenshot but have no idea where to change float: left;

I am OK at messing around with the inspect tool in google and with small bits of custom.css BUT only if I know exactly what I'm changed...and where to put it!

PS: I've currently got the Category setup as leading 1 column / primary 2 col / secondary 2 columns

Any advice is welcome

Chris

BS is BootStrap (now I' quite sure I should have elaborated a bit more)

You can use Bootstrap's classes in your template.
Furthermore images within the fulltext can be controlled by either CSS
.itemFullText img { // RULES HERE } or depending the editor you are using you can manually apply rules to each image.

Hi & thanks for providing more info ;)

The only thing is, I don't really want to add images via the main content, mainly because I need them to display at-the-top of a 'news item' once clicked - and not aligned to left still after clicking read more! example

So because I need to add my images via the 'Image' TAB (instead of 'Content' TAB) for the above to work, what BS file do I need to be looking at to be able to change just the 'Secondary Items' layout....in order for the image to pull-left with the text aligned next to it?

Thanks in advance!

The file you need to edit is the category_item.php.
Instructions on overrides can be found in my other post but just in case I am posting this here as well www.joomlaworks.net/blog/item/194-k2-inheritance-sub-templating
