i can see all the 6 k2 item each in a row on the main page at once but i want to have pagination and show only 3 of them,how to do this?

You need to edit the category's settings.
If you are a using a multi-category menu item, these options exist in the menu item.

HI Krikor -- I've tried to edit the pagination settings in the menu item, but it seems to be retaining the pagination settings in the parent category.

My issue is actually that my item list is showing about 20 items per page out of a total of abut 30 article items, but they only take up the first two icons in the pagination row across the bottom. Clicking on any of the other page icons links to blank pages. How do I only display page icons for pages which actually have items, and hide all of the rest.
