We are getting a large amount of Spam with K2 & Kunena.

1) I would like to find out what I can do to prevent users using bots to register via K2.
2) I have K2 that keeps trying to send email to the spam addresses (the User Registration Conformation) and I would like to make it stop.
if a user is fake - how can I prevent K2 from sending the registration details to such an email address?
Would it help to remove the Spam User from Joomla K2?

Hello,

The registration email is sent through Joomla!'s default user component.
The appropriate settings are located there.
Furthermore you can use reCaptcha or stopforumspam. Both these options can be found in K2's settings.
