"Call to undefined method K2HelperHTML::loadjQuery() " error

"Call to undefined method K2HelperHTML::loadjQuery() " error was created by baijianpeng

Today I installed a module named " JO K2 Slideshow " , when I visit the backend settings of that module, I saw following error message at Joomla backend:

Call to undefined method K2HelperHTML::loadjQuery()

There is no filename and line number, just this single line of error message. So I have no idea what is wrong.

My Joomla version is v3.6.5, K2 version is v2.7.2 dev, both are upgraded from old lower versions.

Could you please tell me what is wrong?

Unfortunately this is an issue with the module itself.
Is it compatible with the 2.7.x series?

The author of that module said it is compatible with K2 2.7. But I don't think so.

However, I am not a php programmer, so I can not debug this and find out which code is wrong.

From the context I think this is a helper function which loads jQuery.
Since you are on J!3.x (i suppose) you can omit this functionality.

In your case I would ask on which file of the extension is this function present so you can comment it out.

hi, i ave the same problem with minitek wall pro module and Vina Camera Slider for K2.

Since the last version of K2.

You know haw to fix this issue ?

Vina Camera Slider fixed the issue : vinagecko.com/joomla-modules/item/102-camera-slider-for-k2

I have the same issue.
Problem is when i want to edit ANY module :(

Despite that i get:
() Error: Call to undefined method K2HelperHTML:::loadJQuery ()

Try disabling all 3rd party K2 extensions until you find the culprit.

I am using RAXO All-mode K2. Unfortunatelly, turning off does not solve issue.
I am not using any other3rd party K2 extensions :(

Hello,
I have only from old shop errors now in log file. (some missing links after migration)

When i want to turn ON site analyze, i get blank page.
When i turn on Errors raporting to maximum, there is no any error :(

I do not think you are referring to core K2 functionality.

This should not be enabled in a live site.
Also the translation is a bit off, it is a debugger. Try looking in your error_reporting for the source of the white page.

The same issue is present in version 2.9.
The culprit is /administrator/components/com_k2/elements/items.php, line 29.

You can comment out this line and solve the issue.
