I have been working for days to try to get video to play in the front end of my site but have not been able to get it to work. Note that I can embed a video in the content of my K2 item such as adding {youtube}jcKoyA872uE{/youtube} to the content, however when I try to use the media tab to "Use online video service" or "embed" the video, it will not show up in my frontend. When I save the Item, the video is displayed in the "Media Preview" section of the backend however, like I said, it does not appear in the frontend. I have searched everywhere in the support section to find out what is wrong. It has to be some setting that simply isn't turned on. Can someone please help me?

Edit that specific K2 item, go the the Display Settings tab > Item view options.
Find the Media parameter and set it to Show.
In case the video appears on the frontend, then the Media parameter is set to Hide in K2 global options, catgeory or menu item.
