403 Error on Edit Item Form was created by Christina
Hello,

I am having difficulty figuring out what is going on with the Edit Item Form menu item on the front end of my site. All of my permissions are in order but for some reason it keeps returning with a 403 error. Even for Super Users. My template, plugins, etc are all up to date. I'm running a Gavick Theme called University. Any help would be great.

Thanks!

Are you using any security extensions?

I haven't added anything myself. But it looks like these are the ones that came with the template:
Authentication - Cookie Joomla! Project
Authentication - Facebook GavickPro
Authentication - Gmail Joomla! Project
Authentication - LDAP Joomla! Project
Authentication - Two Factor Authentication Joomla! Project

All are disabled.

I figured it out. Really simple actually. I imported my user profile from Joomla but it came over as public and not site owner or another group with permissions. Once I changed that I was able to edit in the front end of the site.

Sometimes its the simple stuff that trips us up the most...

Thank you for your help!
