Hello Solan,

These options exist in the sh404sef plugin for K2.
Furthermore you can use K2's Advanced SEF.

There is the "Prefix for item URLs" setting for the advanced SEF.

"Use a custom prefix" doesn't remove alias of menu category.

You would need an SEO extension in order to bypass Joomla!'s router.
The custom prefix will remove all of K2's prefixes, it will leave the menu item.

tnx again

i understand what you mean, and in order that, i think its good idea that you develop an option to bypass Joomla!'s router in option tab of menu.

I think this functionality does not belong to the core.
While it would be useful and as an extension would make sense, it would just bloat the core component, meanwhile a large number of users depend on other extensions to handle their URLs.

ok
it seems i cant convince you to put an independent option in k2 core to remove alias of category menu that it imports data from its k2 category or develop other plugin to do that.

i tried other extension, they have their issues.
Krikor

tnx for answer
