Hello, I have 2 questions.

1. I need to place a slideshow in my K2 items (instead of single image for example). How can I do it?
IF it is not possible can I use a slideshow plugin code somewhere else? I plan to use Widgekit.

2. I am using K2 content module in website-bg.net/santorini/index.php/tours (at the bottom)

I have some custom fields which I would like to show as tabs in the module.
Where I can change the layout to place my custom fields (Itinerary, Inclusions, Rates, Menu) in tabs.

I tried the template of the module but it seems that doesn't work. Should I change the K2 item template as well? Please advice.

Hello,

1. You can use a module in a module area in your template.
2. The K2 content module can be overriden like the component, check your template's html/mod_k2_content folder for possible overrides.
Changing the item.php template will not have any effects on the module.

Regarding the slideshow to put it in the module position is not what I need. I need the slideshow instead a K2 item image (or Gallery or Video). The goal is to have a slideshow inside K2 item and then to override the template to achieve the layout I need - a slide show at the left and K2 custom fields in tabs at the right - both in K2 content module.

It depends a lot on what kind of features you want in your slideshow.

If it was just a simple image slideshow, I believe there's an option for it in Simple Image Gallery pro, which integrates with K2.

If you wanted something more complex, I've created slideshows from individual K2 items before - Using the item's image, title and introtext for the slide content, then calling those items into mod_k2_content - which could be in a sidebar position against that item.

There's a lot of ways to achieve this.

I will go ahead with slick trying to implement it instead of the image in K2 code.

Unfortunately Simple Image Gallery pro doesn't seem to support slideshows. I need a simple slideshow, just to show several images instead of one.

It supports via the Galleria template. But will open a lightbox instead of linking to the item.
