Hi William,
Thank you for quick respone.
I checked the module as you wrote,
k2 search and smart search are active.
>> NO result >> see screenshot-1 , screenshot-2 .
Although rhe tag 'bi' os exist and records are available
At the same page I have rssearch - find smoothly.
Regarding the smart search - I thought it supports several search conditions, based on AND OR rtc.
Is it available when it works?
regards,
Udi

K2 uses MySQLs full text search.
This means that there are several stopwords and furthermore the minimum required characters are two.
Furthermore K2 Tools is using K2's search functionality, in order to use smart search you need to use the Smart Search module.

Hello buddy :)
K2 Tools is K2's standalone search module, while on the other hand Smart Search and the search modules are Joomla!'s modules which uses K2's plugin in order to make the items discoverable.

Hi Krikor,
Just to make it clear:
If my content relies on K2 omly
Should I use the J! search and smart search?
In k2 tools module - there is Search box Only -
Should I define something else there to get smart search?
Thank you
Udi

K2 Tools search is a typical search box which will search for phrases.
Smart search offers more functionality.
I cannot answer this question since I don't know your needs.
K2 Tools' search module is efficient in the vast majority of our sites.
