Adding a K2 Item to Multiple Categories was created by d thomas
Hi Everyone.
I need to have a single k2 item assigned to multiple categories.
I can do this using the "Additional Categories" field. And it sort of works.
On my site I have 4 categories: North, South, East, West.
I assign Item01 to the North and South Categories. The primary Category is North. The Additional Category is South.
Now on the front end of my site I have a "page" that displays all my North items.
The North page is this menu type: K2 » Item listings » Categories And it's set to pull items from the "North" Category.
All ok so far.
Also on the Front End, I have a K2 Content Module in the left sidebar. This module is pulling items from the South Category. However this module is not pulling my Item01. I think it's
probably because the module is restricted to the one Category, which is South and is unable to find my Item01 whose primary Category is North.
Can anyone give me advice as to how to have Item01 appear in both of these places:
A K2 » Item listings » Categories Page
A K2 Content Module currently pulling info from the South Category
I hope this makes sense!
Thank you in advance for any advice.

Hello,
Since this is related to a 3rd party extension, you need to address this issue to the extension's developers.

Hi Krikor. I'm confused. I thought JoomlaWords was the K2 developer. Is that not true?

He used a 3rd party extension to simulate multi-categorization.
