Hello!

After upgrading from K2 2.7.2 to K2 2.8.0 I do get the following Joomla notice message after adding a new item from the frontend.

The image was not uploaded. Please ensure that you used a valid image file and that file uploads are properly configured on your server.

I do use your standard itemform.php and do not have any image uploading at all. Just basic extra fields and the content of the item.

How can I configure K2 so that I do not get this notice message anymore ?

What type of file are you trying to select?
How large it the file you are trying to upload?

I'm not trying to upload/attach any kind of files. That's why I'm wondering why I do get this notice after adding a new item from the frontend.
The frontend is only configured for entering a content text and some basic extra fields. I do not have anything with uploading or attachments at all.

Any ideas why I do get this notice?

Try turning error reporting to none in global configuration. since its a notice, if the error goes away all should be ok

Even with Error Reporting to "none" I still get this notice. Any other ideas?

I'm having this issue after upgrade to 2.8.0

After some little debugging, I found the extra fields HTML code is there in the source code, but it is hidden for some CSS issues.

I think it is a simple UI issue after replacing most of the UI elements in this new release.

I will try to find a fix asap.

I have restored my latest K2 2.7 version to be able to manage items.
