I know this has been asked before but I haven't find a suitable solution.

I have k2 tags and cannot afford to have a menu item for each. My URL is showing "...itemlist/tag/A Pérèa" (with a space)

Tag normalization > Enable
Tag character case > Lowercase
Additional character replacements > è|e, é|e, %20|-
Enforce SEF URL character replacements > Yes

Can I get it to display "...itemlist/tag/a-perea" ?

Am waiting for a new custom k2 plugin to be released (and compatible with k2 2.8) before upgrading and it might take some time.

Hi I have tested on:

k2 2.7.1 with J 3.7.0 AND k2 2.8.0 with J 3.8.1,

now the tag will automatically be saved without the accent. I.e. "A Pérèa" will be saved to "a perea" and appear as such in front end (which is obviously what I don't want)

The link will then be ".../tag/a perea" (with the space).

Am not using template override.
