i had to use latest items from category. which uses the page latest.php. clicking on an item you go to latest_item.php
still though the category_items.php and item.php works as normal so now all my items have 2 different pages with 2 different urls.
how can i disable all links to item.php and category_item.php and use only latest_item.php as the default page for my k2 items?

i was using only the "latest items from" menu item. as soon as i made a hidden menu with a link to all item categories, the item link from latest.php is directing to the default page. (item.php)
still though the old item URL exists (latest_item.php)so i still have double URLs for each item

The best approach would be to make a menu item towards each K2 category separately. Keep the "link to all item categories" menu item as well for tag and user aliases.
