Image width and height attributes was created by joe black
Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me out.

Good SEO practices say that images should have width and height attributes to speed up page load times.
It seems that by default K2 does not apply these.
Is there a way to insert these attributes into the html via K2? A plugin perhaps? Or, a code snippet to insert some place?

I tried using a plugin called 'SEOFLI' but when it added the tags it used the natural size of the image rather than the K2 displayed one, this deformed the image a lot.

So the image width and height dimensions need to be the rendered dimensions not the natural ones.

Any help would be most welcome.

Thanks.

Brendan

I would personally not use these attributes in a responsive,
they might be good-to-have for a non-responsive site but for most sites these values can lead to UI issues.
Finally the benefit would be minimal, since you can do so many other optimisations (CSS/JS/CDN) with so much more impact.
