Media Manager not opening was created by Alan Campbell
Hello again,

I seem to be having an issue with the media manager in the front end (no issues in backend). I'm on the current Github version.

Whenever I click "browse media on server", I get a blank page. Sometimes I get no console errors but if I enable Cloudflare, I get the following:
inline-cloudflare-rocketloader-executed-2.js:4 Uncaught TypeError: $(...).elfinder is not a function
    at HTMLDocument.eval (inline-cloudflare-rocketloader-executed-2.js:4)
    at i (jquery.min.js?4a6672dadf41114371d4a5fa7917243d:2)
    at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.min.js?4a6672dadf41114371d4a5fa7917243d:2)
    at ready (jquery.min.js?4a6672dadf41114371d4a5fa7917243d:2)

Further, the "add attachment field" does not seem to do anything but nor does it throw any errors when clicked.

I'd note that the close button has also stopped doing anything, unsure if this is related.

Any ideas? I'd appreciate any help!

Thanks!

Alan

Hello again,

I've now also noticed that changing the category no longer loads the extra fields. No errors are shown in the console.

I'm really stumped by this - it seemed to happen after the most recent update, and updating to the Dev version hasn't helped.

I'd really appreciate if anyone can help!

Hello,

This seems to be a JavaScript issue, are all the JS files loading properly in the network tab?
Are you using any JS minification/ compression method?

Hello again,

Apologies for the delay in my reply.

I do not currently have anything running that should interfere, no 3rd part minification/optimisation scripts. I can't seem to see any errors showing failure to load files, everything seems ok.

However, I do wonder whether there's a new issue with K2 and Cloudflare. Although I have minification and Rocket Loader disabled at Cloudflare, I do know that they often load from their own CDN. Yet, I'm not sure how it suddenly stopped working after my last stable K2 upgrade.

Have you seen this problem yourself on other sites?

The site is clinsim.org for reference!

Thanks again mate,

Alan

Sorry for my late reply as well Alan.

Cloudflare does intervene with static files.
Eg: Check this file -> view-source:https://clinsim.org/media/k2/assets/js/k2.frontend.js?v=2.8.1&sitepath=/

This is minified from CloudFlare. This means that it is possible that older scripts are still being served.

Can you try the follwing?
A) Clear and of Cloudflare's cache
b) If possible disable Cloudflare from accessing the /administrator area and/ or all static files
