No 'parent' choice when create menu link to k2 article edit was created by alexandria
Hello,
When i create a menuitem 'create article' linked to an item edit form, i can't select 'parent' for target window, everytime i save my choice 'parent' change for 'new window with navigation'. It doesn't with other kind of links.
it does it even with no overides in html folder, or with protostar template, or with joomla 3.8.2 and k2 2.8.0, or with a fresh install of joomla 3.6.5 and k2 2.7.1 or with php 7.1.1.
I have no more ideas.
Please help
Thank you

Hello,
Finally after a new fresh install of joomla 3.8.2 and k2 2.8.0 maybe this is normal that only 'new without navigation' is available for 'target window' of menuitem item edit form.
It works well like this anyway.
Have a nice day to all K2 lovers
Best regards

Hello Alexandria,
If you wish to maintain the site's modules eg: a how to module and the site's header and footer, you can use that link generated from the menu item and wrap it in an iframe.
Joomla! has menu items for iframe wrappers as well.
